Post operation bruising and swelling will go away in couple of days and 3-4 weeks respectively.
Chin-Jaw Shaping
Chin-jaw or jawline surgery is performed to reshape the jaw and chin. As far as jawline surgery is concerned, applying this surgery is aimed to either magnify and define jaw or reduce the size of the bone in order to make chin to look more slimmer and more proportional with overall face. If the lower face has wide or square shape it would be reasonable to apply jawline surgery to achieve a long-term solution. To get a more feminine jaw shape and a more egg-shaped face, the angle of the jaw bone is reduced and jaw muscles are modified. It is also rational to apply this surgery in cases of narrow lower face and not enough defined jaw. To get rid of this problem it is offered to use facial implants for jawline augmentation. It is not necessarily required to cut the bone, since the implants are initially designed to be added on the top of the bone beneath the jaw muscles. Swelling and bruising are expected gone in the first couple weeks.
