Breast Augmentation
As far as Breast Augmentation is concerned, breast implants are used to increase the size of breasts. Moreover, the volume of breasts lost due to the weight reduction or pregnancy can be restored, thus making breasts more rounded and symmetric.
The goals of surgery are:
- Increase fullness and projection of breasts
- Improve the balance of breast contours
- Enhance your self-image and self-confidence
It should be noted that, with the help of breast augmentation, severely drooping breasts cannot be corrected. In order to make sagging breasts look fuller and lifted, a Breast Lifting surgery should be used. Breast lifting and breast augmentation can be performed either simultaneously or separately depending on the decision of the surgeon.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction or reduction mammaplasty, is a process aimed to remove excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to reach a breast size more proportional with body and to decrease the discomfort related with excessively large disproportional breasts (Macromastia).
Considerably large breasts can lead to both physical and emotional upset for patients. Patients with disproportionally large breasts may experience physical discomfort resulting from the weight of their breasts. Along with the physical ailments caused by macromastia, some patients may suffer from emotional distress or more significant mental health problems as a result of their large breasts.
Although breast reduction is often performed to address medical issues, patients who do not have the symptoms of macromastia but are unsatisfied with the size of their breasts can also pursue breast reduction as an aesthetic procedure.
Breast Lift
The main purpose of a breast lift is to rejuvenate a figure with a breast profile that is more youthful and uplifted. A woman’s breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes and loss of skin elasticity can result from:
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Weight Fluctuations
- Aging
- Heredity
It is necessary to note that, breast lift neither leads to significant breast augmentation nor round out the upper part of the breast.
